Recognizing outstanding business achievements
In a celebration of entrepreneurial excellence at the 30th Prime Minister’s International Business Awards over the weekend, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications Hon. Manoa Kamikamica applauded outstanding businesses for their pivotal role in driving national growth.
Regardless of size, every business, according to Hon. Kamikamica, holds the potential to lead in its industry and contribute significantly to Fiji’s development. He stressed the importance of acknowledging businesses, both large and small, for their dedication to excellence, innovation, and social responsibility.
Addressing the gathered business leaders, Hon. Kamikamica urged them to continue inspiring and motivating others to pursue excellence.
He commended the entrants for their accomplishments across various sectors, emphasizing their contributions to entrepreneurship, leadership, and community development.

“The entrants for tonight's awards have displayed significant accomplishments in their respective fields and industry sectors. They have displayed the importance of commitment to entrepreneurship, leadership, and social responsibility – a stand out from the rest, striving for uniqueness making meaningful contributions to the development of our communities,” added Hon. Kamikamica.
Highlighting the significance of the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards, Hon. Kamikamica expressed its role in inspiring businesses to set high standards and serving as a source of motivation for future achievements.

The event was officiated by the Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Climate Change and Environment, Civil Service, Information, and Public Enterprises Hon. Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance and Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Hon. Biman Prasad, Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Permanent Secretaries, Members of the private sector also participated in the event.
The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards was held at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort in Denarau, Nadi last weekend.
