Fijian brands shine at Auckland Food Show 2024
Six local companies are set to showcase their locallymade products at the Auckland Food Show in New Zealand this week.
Aztec Farms, BulaCoffee, FMF Foods Ltd, Down to Earth, Ranadi Plantation, and PanpacDistributors are among the self-funded participants, eager to forge new partnerships and expand their marketpresence during the four day AucklandFood Show which commenced this morning.
PanpacDistributors, the sixth company, which is already based in New Zealand willalso be participating at the show.
Investment Fiji, with the support of Fiji Trade Commission in Australia and New Zealand has provided the opportunity to these six companies to promote their products at the Fiji Booth.
The Auckland Food Show which is the largest food and beverage trade show in the Southern Hemisphere, presents an opportunity for Fijian businesses to market their products to an audience of buyers, distributors, and retailers.
Investment Fiji Chief Executive Officer Kamal Chetty said, event is an ideal platform to target key buyers and distributors.
“The Auckland Food Show 2024 is the perfect opportunity for Fiji to not only highlight its capabilities in manufacturing and producing local brands but also promote our quality and standards of locally made products,” he said.
“Platforms such as this allows Fijian companies to also become aware of such trends and incorporate international and innovative standards into their operations.”
“Investment Fiji’s aim is to assist and guide these SME’s to become export ready and meet international standards, thus being able to participate in trade shows such as the Auckland Food Show 2024 to secure deals and partnerships.”
Fiji Consulate General & Trade Commission to Australia & New Zealand, Daniel Stow, expressed enthusiasm about Fiji’s participation at the event.
“It is great to be back for the Auckland Food Show for 2024. Our participation in suchtradeshows is important as it demonstrates Fiji’s ability to produce niche andpremium products suitable for overseas export markets,” he said.
“The Auckland FoodShow will also provide participating Fijian brands an opportunity to be soughtby bigger supermarket chains and stores allowing the Fijian taste to reach thewider retail market and customers in NZ.”
“We are pleased to work with these exporters in helping them find new markets for their products and also help support jobs and local communities in Fiji.”
